Arts in Action 2021-2022, Céiliúradh / A Celebration
The theme of this semester's Arts in Action Programme is 'Ceiliúradh' meaning a celebration.
I am proud to be part of a university that values and celebrates the arts and culture in such a real way by supporting this programme, the artists involved and in turn the community that is NUI Galway. Arts in Action also underpins our commitment to our students, complementing our academic programmes of Film, Music, Irish Studies, Creative Writing and Drama. This varied and diverse programme, gives us access to world class arts and the highest calibre of artists. It is my absolute pleasure to continue the legacy of Mary McPartlan and to be in the privileged position of programming the Autumn / Winter Season of Arts in Action.
